TOPIC SELECTION IN THE DIPLOMA PROGRAM
Students choose courses from the following course groups:
- Language and literature studies
- language acquisition; individuals and societies
- Sciences; math and arts.
Students may choose to take an additional science, individual and society, or language course instead of an arts course. Students will take some courses at higher level (HL) and some at standard level (SL). HL and SL courses differ in scope but are measured against the same grade descriptors and students are expected to demonstrate greater knowledge, understanding and skills at higher levels.
Each student takes at least three (but not more than four) courses at the upper level and the rest at the standard level.
Standard level courses take 150 instructional hours. The higher level covers 240 lesson hours.
IB FOREIGN EDUCATION CONSULTANCY
It is extremely important to appropriately manage students' success in IB programmes. The consultancy services we offer for students who want to continue their education abroad support the student in making the best use of the education he receives according to his goals and skills.
In order to complete the challenging education process with an ideal road map, we ensure that they continue their journey with experts in their fields during the IB process. Maintain a roadmap that suits the student's resilience and options.
